I’m absolutely obsessed with nail polish right now. I have on:

China Glaze in “Diva Bride”

Revlon in “Bewitching”

And they are so pretty and balance each other out. It’s the perfect combination of demure and conservative with elegant and alluring.

Excited and scared… but in a good way

Now that my second year of university is winding down, I am incredibly excited to be older— 20! The beginning of a new decade. It’s all very exciting… though I’m not sure how much of an adult I feel. I simply want to absorb… I’m finding inspiration from all sources around me… my art class, my biochemistry class, the pathologist I work with, the other students around me who constantly amaze me with their intelligence and kindness. Most of all, I’ve decided to keep adding to my official life to-do-list. This summer I will be working… only instead of working as a barista as I did last summer, I will be working in a lab. I’m so excited… thrilled actually to start something completely new.

I think that if this year has taught me anything, it is that I will always remain true to my philosophy of hard work, dedication, and bravery. I will always stand for what I believe in, even if I stand alone. Luckily, most of the time, I am not. I am so blessed to have some of the most amazing friends. At this point, I just want to look back, reflect, and also look to the future… and what it may hold.
